They will play Canada, New Zealand, and Panama.
Prepare yourself for the fall. Today, U.S. Soccer announced three home friendlies that the United States Men’s National Team will play this fall.
In September, the first window after the completion of Copa America, the USMNT will begin the window by playing Canada at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City on September 7th. Kickoff is slated for 7:00pm ET, and it is being billed as U.S. Soccer’s Fan Appreciation Night. They will then head to Cincinnati, where they will face New Zealand at TQL Stadium on September 10th. Kickoff for that match will also be at 7:00pm ET.

In October, the USMNT will face Panama on October 12th at Q2 Stadium in Austin. Kickoff for that match, like the others, will be at 7:00pm ET. That match will be U.S. Soccer’s Hispanic Heritage Night, as the match occurs towards the end of Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States.
The USMNT have never lost at any of the venues that are scheduled for September or October. The team is 8W-0L-2D at Children’s Mercy Park, 2W-0L-1D at TQL Stadium (with the draw being a win on penalties in the 2023 Gold Cup quarterfinals), and 4W-0L-0D at Q2 Stadium.
The friendly opponents are a result of most of the rest of the world being occupied with World Cup qualifying or Concacaf Nations League. Canada and New Zealand are also playing Mexico during the September window, while Panama has a bye to the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals alongside the USMNT, Canada, and Mexico. Canada is ranked 48th in the world, while New Zealand is 107th and Panama is 43rd.
It’s unclear whether there will be another friendly scheduled for October for the USMNT, but they will compete in the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals in November, with one home match and one away match in that two-legged series. Either way, the USMNT’s fall schedule appears to be just about complete.
