Singapore fans are able to enjoy a 60% discount on bundle tickets; New hospitality package lets superfans meet Singapore’s Lions Legends

SINGAPORE, 30 APRIL 2024 – Singapore will play host to the Korea Republic on 6 June 2024 in the second round of their FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ campaign. This will be the final home match of the Lions’ World Cup qualifying campaign in the second round. The Koreans will be looking to secure the top spot in the qualifying group and are expected to play their strongest team, including the likes of English Premier League stars such as Son Heung-min and Hwang Hee-chan.

The match is also the second home match for the Singapore National Team’s new head coach, Tsutomu Ogura, whose new-look Lions valiantly held China to a 2-2 draw in his first match in charge.

“I hope our fans saw the fight that our team put up in both matches against China. Korea is a very tough challenge and one of the best teams in Asia. We will need a full capacity support of our fans to be our 12th man on the pitch, and give the Koreans a tough game,” said Ogura.

In anticipation of the vociferous support for the Singapore players, the National Stadium’s full 50,000 capacity will be opened, with 5,000 tickets allocated for away fans.

Fans will be able to purchase tickets early on Thursday 2 May 2024 if they register on the Ticketek platform and get themselves on the pre-sale waitlist that opens today, Tuesday 30 April 2024, at 12:00pm. Prices will range between $10 to $40 across five ticket categories.

TICKET PURCHASING PROCESS

With an anticipated surge in demand and a limited number of seats available, fans are strongly encouraged to register for the waitlist via the Ticketek link: https://bit.ly/SGVKRWL to secure pre-sale access. Public sales will then commence on the same day at noon and will continue until matchday itself.

Ticket prices range from $10 for Category 5 seats to $40 for Category 1 tickets. Intermediate categories are priced at $12 for Category 4, $20 for Category 3, and $25 for Category 2. Away fans will be seated exclusively in the West Zone area, with tickets priced at $30 each.

Fervent fans seeking a premium matchday experience can look forward to the new Hospitality Package. Priced at $150 per person, excluding booking fees, this exclusive offering provides a range of on-site privileges at the stadium, including dedicated entry via Gate 6, expedited security clearance, access to the OCBC Lounge two hours before kick-off and during halftime, and a curated selection of food and beverages. The highlight of the package is an exclusive Meet & Greet and Photo Opportunity session with Singapore’s Lions Legends.

In anticipation of high demand during the June holidays, a limited bundle promotion exclusively for Singaporean fans will also be available during the presale period. Local supporters can enjoy a 60% discount when purchasing four Category 2 tickets at the Home (Singapore) East Zone for just $40, down from $100. This offer is on a first-come, first-served basis, with only 800 tickets (200 bundles of four) available.

Each patron is allowed a maximum of 10 tickets per transaction.
