Former Ole Miss RB Kedrick Reescano commits to Arizona football – Arizona Desert Swarm

Filed under:
Just over a month after losing a running back transfer to Ole Miss, Arizona has taken a ball carrier from the Rebels.
Former Ole Miss RB Kedrick Reescano has committed to the UA for the 2024 season, giving a much-needed boost to a position that had been down to only three scholarship players.

The 6-foot, 210-pound Reescano appeared in eight games last season as a true freshman, playing on special teams. He was a 4-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, per 247Sports, the No. 149 player in the country and 8th-best running back, and picked Ole Miss over a previous commitment to Michigan State.
Reescano, from New Caney, Texas, should compete right away for touches in a backfield that went through spring ball with San Jose State transfer Quali Conley, junior Rayshon ‘Speedy’ Luke and redshirt freshman Brandon Johnson. True freshman Jordan Washington was also in spring camp but has since transferred to Washington.
Arizona had also gotten a commitment from ex-New Mexico RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt in January but he ended up flipping to Ole Miss in April.
Reescano is Arizona’s 11th spring portal addition, the fourth at an offensive skill position.
