The player known as “Big Bubba” departs after one season in Fort Worth.
TCU freshman offensive lineman Brione Ramsey-Brooks, known as “Big Bubba” for his enormous size and stature, has reportedly entered the transfer portal after one season with the Horned Frogs. The 6-foot-5, 455-pounder from Dallas, Texas played his high school football at South Oak Cliff and was a three-star recruit in the 2023 class. Ramsey-Brooks redshirted during the 2023 season and did not see any game action for TCU.

Ramsey-Brooks becomes the fourth Horned Frog to declare for the transfer portal in the post-spring window, following redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Ezra Dotson-Oyetade as well as cornerbacks Rohan Fluellen and Dre Seldon Jr. Ramsey-Brooks held offers from Oregon, Houston, Arizona and Georgia Tech before ultimately signing with TCU.
