Tuesday marks the start of the second wave of group stage games at the 2023 World Cup.
The action on Day 6 features just two games: co-host New Zealand takes on the Philippines while Switzerland takes on Norway.
New Zealand won the opening game of the tournament last Thursday 1-0 against Norway after Hannah Wilkerson scored the deciding goal in the 48th minute.
Switzerland beat the Philippines 2-0 last Friday and currently sits atop Group A with 3 points. New Zealand also has 3 points, but lands in second place due to goal differential.
Norway entered the tournament as the highest-ranked team in Group A at No. 12 in the world. With a loss to Switzerland, they would be in last place with one group stage game remaining.
