India will begin their FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers campaign against Kuwait followed by a game against Qatar, with both matches set to take place in November.
Indian senior men’s team head coach Igor Stimac on Friday unveiled a roster of 28 potential players for the upcoming Round 2 matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Preliminary Joint Qualification.
The Blue Tigers are gearing up to kick off their campaign with a clash against Kuwait in Group A at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait City on Thursday, November 16. Following this, they will return home to face Qatar at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday, November 21.
In preparation for these crucial qualifiers, the Indian team will head to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on November 8 for a training camp.
Here’s the list of 28 probables for matches against Kuwait and Qatar:
