Every year, FIFA hands out the Puskas Award – a prestigious prize that celebrates the best goals scored throughout the year. The nominees for the 2024 edition were announced by FIFA earlier on Friday – alongside the nominees for The Best 2024 – and they did not disappoint.
11 jaw-dropping goals are in contention to win the award this year, as voting is officially open on the body’s official website (FIFA.com). The winner will be chosen by both fans and FIFA Legends panel, with votes carrying the same weight.
Voting for the 2024 nominees will close at 00:00 (CET) on Tuesday 10th December and all the rules on every award can be found on the FIFA Digital Hub.
Last year Guilherme Madruga won the prize for his stunning bicycle kick against Novorizontino, but who will claim it this time round? Here are the nominees.
