SOUTH BEND — As brave little tulips pop through the soft April ground in Northern Indiana, many Notre Dame football players hope to bloom themselves during the 93rd annual Blue-Gold Game showcase Saturday afternoon.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Notre Dame Stadium. Assistant coaches Al Washington (Blue team) and Deland McCullough (Gold) will be the acting head coaches for the intra-squad scrimmage that concludes 2024’s spring practice period.
The Irish are coming off a 10-3 season in 2023 that culminated in a Sun Bowl victory over Oregon State in El Paso. Notre Dame opens the 2024 season Aug. 31 at Texas A&M.
