The Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy is up for grabs this weekend.
No. 18 Army (11-1) takes on Navy (8-3) in a nonconference game to conclude the 2024 regular season in the rivalry matchup between the two programs. The winner of each college football season’s series among the three military academies ― Army, Navy, and Air Force ― earns the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy.
The Black Knights defeated the Falcons 20-3 on Nov. 2, while the Midshipmen defeated Air Force 34-7 on Oct. 5. That means one of Army or Navy will go 2-0 against the other service academies this season, and Saturday’s winner will prevail as the top dog in the series this season. Army is currently in possession of the trophy after sweeping both teams last season.
