England-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Jarell Quansah, scored his first English Premier League goal for Liverpool on Monday, May 13, 2024, in their clash against Aston Villa.

The youngster was in the starting lineup for Jurgen Klopp’s side in their penultimate fixture of the league campaign.

In the match played at Villa Park, Jarell Quansah equalized with a thumping header three minutes into the first half.

Quansah, in a video shared by Liverpool, ran behind the Villa defence before leaping to connect with a cross from outside the box.

The Villa goalie and World Cup winner Emiliano Martinez was glued to his spot as he watched the header enter the net after coming off the crossbar.

It was his first in the English Premier League in a fixture Liverpool eventually drew 3-3.

Quansah has also become the 24th player to score their first English Premier League goal under Jurgen Klopp’s management at Liverpool.
