Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez scored his 32nd goal for Argentina against Peru.
It was an important goal on a number of levels for Martinez.
First of all, it was the only goal in a 1-0 victory for the Albiceleste in a 1-0 World Cup qualifier.
Then, there is the fact that Martinez had managed to equal the legendary Diego Maradona’s goal total for Argentina.
And to mark that special goal, Martinez produced a great goal. He met a Lionel Messi cross with a spectacular acrobatic effort.
Inter captain Martinez took to Instagram with a video of his “golazo” against Peru.
