The latest college football polls have been released, and Iowa State is well represented on both the USA TODAY LBM Coaches Poll and the Associated Press top 25.
The Cyclones improved to 7-0 and for the first time in school history, 4-0 in Big 12 Conference play, after a last-minute touchdown to cap a 38-35 comeback win on Saturday at home. They overcame a season-high 14-point deficit to defeat UCF.
They will have a break for a bye week, before returning to action on Saturday, Nov. 2, against visiting Texas Tech.
Where did Iowa State land?
On Sunday, the Cyclones moved up to No. 10 in the latest USA TODAY US LBM coaches poll. Previously, the Cyclones were No. 12.
In the newest AP top 25, the Cyclones dropped one spot to No. 10, despite staying undefeated. Last week, the Cyclones were No. 9.
