Rising star Kata Blanka Vas showed her quality with a brilliant ride in brutally cold conditions to grab an impressive third-place finish as the UCI Cyclocross World Cup made its way to Besançon, France. – Arriving at the seventh stop of the season, Blanka Vas was sitting fifth in the overall standings but had yet to claim a podium finish. Having twice finished in fourth place, the 23-year-old was able to secure her best finish this season courtesy of a powerful ride in a freezing Besançon. The UCI Cyclocross World Cup continues on January 5, 2025, in Dendermonde, Belgium.
