U.S. Men’s Soccer Team World Cup Docuseries Set At HBO – Deadline

By Denise Petski
Senior Managing Editor
A documentary series chronicling the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team (USMNT) in the leadup to the 2026 FIFA World Cup is headed to HBO. The sports docu series will air on HBO and will stream on Max in 2026.
Production is currently underway on the series, which follows the U.S. Men’s National Team over four years following their impressive performance at the 2022 Men’s World Cup in Qatar. The team, led by manager Mauricio Pochettino, will play on home soil during the 2026 World Cup hosted jointly by the United States, Mexico, and Canada. It will be the first FIFA World Cup to feature 48 teams with matches spanning 16 venues in North America.

The docuseries hails from HBO Sports Documentaries and Park Stories in association with the U.S. Soccer Federation and the U.S. National Soccer Team Players Association.

Watch on Deadline
