Georgia football has gotten very used to being the center of attention when it comes to TV and viewership in college football. And that is not changing this weekend.
The 12th ranked Bulldogs welcome No. 7 Tennessee to Sanford Stadium in what is the biggest game of this weekend's college football slate. With that comes a lot of pressure as Georgia is in a position where they need to win out to accomplish their goals.
But before the game gets here, let's take a look and see where fans can watch the game and who will be calling the game.
Georgia will take on No. 7 Tennessee this Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 pm on ABC. ESPN's College GameDay will also be in Athens this weekend, and their pregame show will begin at 9:00 am EST on ESPN.
As one would probably guess, Georgia is getting another amazing crew to call their game. In fact, it is a crew that has already called multiple Georgia games already this season. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the game on TV and Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge will be roaming the sidelines as well.
This game is by far the most important game of the season for Georgia. The latest edition of the College Football Playoff rankings showed that Georgia only has one path to make the 12-team CFP field, and that path is to win the rest of their games. One more loss and UGA can kiss a national championship goodbye.
But if Kirby Smart and Georgia do win this game, they will likely shoot back up the rankings. And with two easier games to close out their season, Georgia will be all but guaranteed their spot in the playoffs.
Let's hope they get it done, because missing out on the CFP this year would be a disaster.
