The Triad Lady Knights will play in the 2a IHSA soccer state semifinals today at North Central College in Naperville. Triad enters the game at 21-4-1 on the season out of the Mississippi Valley. Triad hasn’t lost a match since April 9th in a game against Cor Jesu Academy of St Louis.
The Lady Knights are looking for the program’s 5th state title. They last won the title in 2022. They take on 24-1-1 Peoria Notre Dame out of the Big Twelve Conference. As dominant as PND has been, they have never won a state title. Kickoff for the 2nd semifinal is set for 3pm.
The opener today will be at 1:30 between 21-2-2 Crystal Lake Central and 15-8-2 Burlington Central.
