SÖLDEN, Austria – The FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup kicks off this weekend in Sölden, Austria, with the women’s Giant Slalom on Saturday, October 26, and the men’s Giant Slalom on Sunday, October 27.
On Saturday, the women will kick off their first runs starting at 10:00am local time and follow up with their second runs at 1:00pm local time. Here in the United States, that means 4:00am ET for the first run and 7:00am ET for the second.
The men’s competition once again kicks off the first runs at 10:00am local time and the second run at 1:00pm local time. However because of European Summer Time, which changes earlier than Daylight Savings in the United States, the men’s competition kicks off at 5:00am ET for the first run and 8:00pm ET for the second run.
If you have hopes of watching the competition live, you can do so on Peacock. Some limited tape-delayed coverage will also occur on NBC. All FIS Alpine Ski World Cup events in Austria will show on Peacock & NBC throughout this season, while domestic events will show on Peacock, NBC, CNBC, and Outside. Any international event that does not take place in Austria will show on ski and snowboard.live.
