In the first round, the 12 lowest-ranked teams, based on previous U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers, will compete. The six winners from this round will advance to join the 26 top-ranked teams that were exempt from the first round. The first leg of these matches is set for May 9–11, 2025, while the second leg will take place on May 16–18, 2025.
The second round will consist of the six winners from the first round and the 26 exempted teams, making a total of 32 teams. These teams will compete for 16 spots in the third round. The first leg of the round is scheduled for September 19–21, 2025, with the second leg on September 26–28.
Next comes the third round, where the remaining 16 teams will compete in a knockout format to determine the eight teams advancing to the fourth round. The first leg will take place on February 6–8, 2026, while the second leg is set for February 12–14, 2026.
Finally, the fourth round will feature the last eight teams playing knockout ties, with the winners earning qualification to the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. The first leg of this round is scheduled for May 1–3, 2026 and the second leg will occur on May 8–10, 2026.
