GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Rankings and previous results mean little when the clock starts in a high school soccer game, and Cedar Springs showed what effort and collective determination can do, even against a top-ranked team.
The unranked Red Hawks handed OK Gold foe South Christian, the state’s No. 1 team in Division 3, a 1-0 loss on Monday in what has to be one of the state’s biggest upsets through the first five weeks of the girls soccer season.
