The St. Joseph by-the-Sea boys’ soccer team suffered a heartbreaking loss in the CHSAA A title game Saturday, succumbing to Cardinal Hayes after two penalty-kick sessions, 4-3, at Fordham University, the Bronx.
It was the Vikings’ third straight trip to the finals, but they have lost each time.
