Two-time defending Football Championship Subdivision national champion South Dakota State will wrap up spring practices Saturday with the program’s annual Spring Game.
Action is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.
Parking/Entrance/Admission
Fans attending the Spring Game are asked to park in the lots west of the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex and Dana J. Dykhouse and enter through the First Bank & Trust (northwest) entrance. Doors will open at 10 a.m. and no admission will be charged.
Game Format
The Spring Game will consist of two 25-minute halves with a running clock and a brief halftime. The squad will be split into offense (white) and defense (black), with quarterbacks in blue. The defense will start the game with a 17-0 lead.
Implementation of the new two-minute warning will be included as each half comes to a close, with the offense running a two-minute drill.
Media Coverage
The Spring Game will be broadcast by Jackrabbit Sports Network flagship station 570 WNAX AM, with live updates via Twitter (@GoJacksFB).
Promotions
At halftime, members of the 2023 senior class in attendance will be recognized, as will a group from the 2024 Jackrabbit football recruiting class.
Following the game, Jackrabbit players will be available for an autograph session on the field. Posters will be available for players to sign.
