In girls prep soccer Friday, Lutcher won 8-0 at Ellender.
Keira Herrmann led the way for the Bulldogs, putting four goals in the net. Kenzie Millet added a pair of goals while Peyton Conway and Aubrey Madere each added a goal.
Lutcher (10-5) has won four straight matches. The Bulldogs return to action against South Terrebonne on Tuesday.
The Patriots (2-11-1) play at New Orleans Military & Maritime Monday.
In boys action, Brother Martin defeated Bonnabel 2-0 for its eighth straight win.
Compton and Walker each scored a goal for the Crusaders.
Brother Martin (13-3-4) returns to action Tuesday, hosting Newman in a very good matchup.
The Bruins (8-2-1) will meet John Ehret next Tuesday in a District 8-I matchup.
De La Salle downed Landry 6-2.
After a close first half, the Cavaliers pulled away in the second half.
Jack Woodrow led the charge for De La Salle, recording a hat trick and added an assist. Connor Butler had a goal and an assist while Sebastian Dolese and Craig Walter each added a goal.
De La Salle (6-6-2) returns to action today at 5 p.m. at Hammond.
Northshore edged Fontainebleau 2-1 in a District 6-I contest at Northshore.
Tied 1-1, Henry Phan scored the game-winning goal on an assist from Pedro Souza for the Panthers.
Northshore (8-4-2, 2-0-1) returns to district play at St. Paul’s Tuesday.
The Bulldogs (9-5-3, 1-1-1) will host Mandeville in district play Tuesday.
