Wednesday, October 9, 2024
GLADEVILLE – Karina Kumar’s goal off an assist from Molly Denton produced the only points on Tuesday as Lebanon upset No. 2 seed Wilson Central 1-0 in the semifinals of the District 7-AAA soccer tournament.
With the win, the Lady Devils improved to 9-5-3 and earned a berth in the district finals on Thursday at top-seeded Stewarts Creek.

LHS will play for a district championship for just the third time in the history of the program.
The No. 3 seed, Lebanon reached semifinals with a 4-0 victory over LaVergne on Monday.
Sidnie Cornish had a hat trick while Kayleigh Agosta added a goal.
Assists came from Marlee Dye, Kumar and Courtney Aluya.
