ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – There are still two years from the FIFA World Cup coming to the United States, but we’re already learning that one local university could be a place where one team calls home during the tournament.
FIFA released a list of locations where participating teams could establish their base camps. One of those locations is Saint Louis University.
Base camps are where international teams will travel to for the first three games and where players, staff and officials will spend the majority of their time during the group stage.
This list is expected to grow as we get closer to the tournament, with locations across Canada, Mexico and the U.S.
