Grammy Award-winning superstar Sean Paul and Soca star Kes are teaming up to create the official anthem of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
Produced by Michael Tano Montano, the song will be officially launched in the coming weeks, and the music video is expected to feature several well-known superstars.
According to the ICC, they anticipate that the song will resonate with cricket fans worldwide.
In related news, Rapper Ice Spice electrified the audience at Coachella on Sunday with an exclusive preview of her upcoming track, which features a sample from Sean Paul’s iconic 2002 hit, “Gimme Di Light.”
The unreleased song, slated to appear on Ice Spice’s forthcoming album “Y2K” later this year, showcased Sean Paul’s vocals in both the intro and outro, seamlessly blending with the renowned Buzz riddim. “Gimme Di Light,” originally the lead single from Sean Paul’s Grammy Award-winning album “Dutty Rock,” was crafted by production duo, Black Shadow Records.
All this comes after Jennifer Lopez recently collaborated with Sean Paul on the remix of her single ‘Can’t Get Enough’, sampling his rendition of “I’m Still In Love With” featuring Sasha, which was originally done in 1967 by the late Alton Ellis.
