SCOTT McTOMINAY struck for Napoli as they stayed top of Serie A.
The Scotland midfielder broke the deadlock in a 1-1 draw with title rivals Inter Milan at the San Siro.
McTominay and Billy Gilmour both started the top of the table clash against Inter.
The former Manchester United star poked home from close-range after 23 minutes.
Inter levelled before the break through Hakan Calhanoglu – but the Turkish star then missed his first-ever penalty for the hosts after the break.
Calhanoglu had netted 19 straight spot-kicks, including a midweek Champions League winner against Arsenal.
Napoli are now one point clear of Atalanta, Fiorentina, Inter and Lazio in a thrilling title fight in Italy.
Juventus are a further point adrift with just two points separating the top SIX sides.
Juve won the Turin derby 2-0 on Saturday against Torino, who were without the injured Che Adams.
McTominay has fast become a fans' favourite abroad and his latest strike only added to the praises being sung about the 27-year-old.
Taking to X, one punter wrote: "Scott McTominay winning Serie A in his first season in Italy is gonna be amazing."
A second added: "He's killing it over in Italy. So happy for him."
Another was even more complimentary, comparing him to France World Cup winner and Serie A legend Zinedine Zidane.
They said: "McTominay moves like Zidane in the Serie A man."
Meanwhile, ex-Celtic star Liam Henderson started Empoli's 1-1 draw at Lecce, while Lewis Ferguson was on the bench as Bologna won 3-2 at Roma.
