Remembering Tulsa football glory days under Steve Kragthorpe – Tulsa World

Tulsa World Sports Extra Show: Tulsa World’s Eric Bailey recalls TU’s conference championship and Liberty Bowl champion season and more.
Steve Kragthrope coached Tulsa Golden Hurricane football from 2003–2006 before taking the same job at Louisville.
He led TU to its first bowl game appearance since 1991 during his first season and in 2005, the Conference USA championship and a Liberty Bowl win.
He will be inducted into the University of Tulsa Hall of Fame, but unfortunately has been battling Parkinson’s disease recently, Eric Bailey notes.
In the above video, Bailey pays tribute to the former TU coach.
