Realistic 2024 expectations for Minnesota Gopher Football transfers on offense – 247Sports

From the transfer portal, it’s been a productive off-season for PJ Fleck and Minnesota. They ended up having 17 scholarship players enter the portal and took 12 guys to help replace them and add more depth. Part of the job as a media member is to try and set realistic expectations, as the imagination of many fans can run wild. 
With that being said, here are my expectations for the new transfer adds on offense. 
The Roswell (Ga.) native was a finalist this past season for the Walter Payton Award in the FCS, which honors the outstanding offensive college football player on the FCS level. Brosmer started 31 career games for the Wildcats and threw for 8,000 total yards with 69 touchdowns and 19 interceptions. Just this past season, he led all FCS quarterbacks in yards (3,498), first downs (179), and attempts (461). When you look at his Pro Football Focus grades, he had an overall PFF grade of 82.4 and 78.8 the last two seasons, and specifically with his passing grades, they were 83.5 and 79.5.
