Inter Milan took three more points in Serie A against Venezia.
It wasn’t easy. Nor was it free of drama.
The Nerazzurri won by a scoreline of 1-0. Their winning goal came courtesy of Lautaro Martinez.
But Venezia thought they’d equalized very late in stoppage time, until the goal was disallowed for a handball.
Meanwhile, Inter also missed a few good chances that would have allowed them to kill off the match.
However, in the end the Nerazzurri took all three points.
This allowed Inter to draw to within a point of Napoli at the summit of the Serie A table. The Partenopei had lost their match against Atalanta earlier in the day.
Moreover, Inter and Napoli face off directly in Serie A next Sunday.
Inter captain Lautaro Martinez took to Instagram to celebrate the victory over Venezia.
