Penn State's Beaver Stadium Voted Best Stadium in College Football – Sports Illustrated

In a fan vote conducted by The Athletic, Beaver Stadium topped LSU’s Tiger Stadium as tops in college football.
Penn State’s Beaver Stadium is about to undergo a major renovation, one that fans hope doesn’t diminish its spirit and atmosphere — especially for White Out games. Nittany Lions fans love their home venue and weren’t shy about voting (early and often) for Beaver Stadium as the best stadium in college football. Congratulations, Nittany Lions fans, you won.
Beaver Stadium recently won the “Best Stadium in College Football” bracket conducted by The Athletic. The 32-venue bracket included top seeds Michigan Stadium, the Rose Bowl, Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium and Texas A&M’s Kyle Field. Beaver Stadium, a No, 2 seed, topped them all.
Beaver Stadium advanced past Notre Dame Stadium, Virginia Tech’s Lane Stadium and Michigan Stadium to reach the Final Four. There, Beaver Stadium scored a significant upset over the Rose Bowl before taking down Tiger Stadium in the championship game. According to The Athletic, Beaver Stadium received 72.6 percent of the votes against LSU. A resounding win.
Beaver Stadium is about to get a refresh as part of a four-year, $700 million renovation. Work on the nation’s second-largest stadium is underway, with a demolition project scheduled to begin after the 2024 season. Penn State hired Populous to design and oversee the renovation. Penn State Athletic Director Patrick Kraft has said he expects plans to be finalized by June 2024,
