LATHAM, N.Y. – Penn College men’s soccer landed an NCAA-era program record five all-conference selections as the United East unveiled its 2024 All-Conference awards and postseason honors Wednesday.
Senior Tommy DeGeyter earned his third all-conference selection as he was named to the first-team defense to close out his career. Freshman Scott Goldfeder earned second-team midfield honors while seniors Logan Stapleton (midfield), Matt Neeson (defense), and Jack Lenosky (defense) all earned third-team considerations.

The Wildcats’ five postseason selections are the most in program history since earning ten selections following the 2004 season as members of the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC).
DeGeyter became just the third Wildcat to earn three or more all-conference nods in program history after the senior captain led the Wildcats in points (18), goals (6) and assists (6) for the second consecutive season, and went a perfect 3-for-3 in penalty kick opportunities. DeGeyter finished the season tied for 15th in league scoring and points and was sixth in assists. DeGeyter fired off 28 shots and placed half of his opportunities on frame while his help on defense paved the way for the Wildcats to post five shutouts.
Goldfeder completed his freshman campaign tied for second on the team with 10 points with four goals and two assists on the year. The Cedar Cliff HS product scored his first goal and recorded his first multi-goal game with two goals against Penn State Schuylkill and added a goal and an assist in two games against Alfred State and UE opponent Gallaudet. Goldfeder placed 50% of his 20 shots on frame while appearing in 18 games and starting in 17.
Stapleton, Neeson and Lenosky capped their careers with their first all-conference selections after starting in every game for the Wildcats. Stapleton finished the season tied for second on the team with four goals and two assists. Stapleton scored three of his four goals in conference matches against Gallaudet, Lancaster Bible and Valley Forge. Lenosky scored two goals and aided with two assists to finish with six points while Neeson was credited with an assist on the season.
The trio were also part of a defensive unit that helped post five shutouts and a 1.11 goals-against average as a team.
Penn College won an NCAA-era record 11 games and posted a 5-1-2 mark against United East opponents to earn its first home playoff game and playoff victory over Keystone to reach the quarterfinal round.
