PASADENA, Calif. — Oregon running back Jordan James suffered a head injury during the first half of the Rose Bowl.
James, who had seven carries for 14 yards in the first half, went to the locker room with the Ducks trailing 24-0 and did not return.
The junior running back, who entered the day with 1,253 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, said he suffered a head injury.
No. 8 Ohio State outrushed the Ducks 181 to minus-23, with sacks accounting for 56 lost yards on the ground.
