With just 83 days to go until Penn State football, we’re taking a look at wide receiver Jake Spencer.
Jake spent his first 2 seasons at Colgate University, where he primarily served on special teams. In 2022 Spencer transferred to Penn State, where he redshirted, with his 2023 year serving as his redshirt junior year.
In 2024, Jake will be a redshirt senior, though he faces an uphill battle to crack into the receiving rotation. A solid depth player, Spencer was named the Developmental Squad Offensive Player of the Week for the Illinois game in 2023. We’ll see what strides he can make heading into what may be his last season of football!
