Oman’s national football team continues its rigorous training as they prepare for the crucial matches against Palestine and Iraq in the fifth and sixth rounds of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
National coach Rashid Jaber is focusing on maximising the players’ physical and technical readiness to ensure a strong performance in these vital fixtures. The team’s goal is to achieve favourable results that will enhance their chances of either securing direct qualification for the World Cup or advancing to the fourth stage of the qualifiers.
Oman will face Palestine on November 14, followed by a match against Iraq on November 19 at the Sultan Qaboos Complex in Bousher. The national team is determined to bounce back from their recent loss to Jordan and aim to increase their points, seizing every opportunity to qualify for the 2026 World Cup for the first time in history.
