Ole Miss Soccer looks for their first conference win

In week three of conference play, the Rebels will take on a 7-5 Texas A&M team at home for senior night on Friday, Oct. 11. The Aggies are 2-2 in conference play with wins over Missouri and No. 5 Auburn and losses to Oklahoma and No. 13 Texas.

Losing their first four games to Tennessee, LSU, Texas and No. 8 Auburn, Ole Miss Soccer has had a rough start to SEC play.

The Rebels are 5-8 overall on the season and are in search of their first conference win. They currently sit in last place in the conference with a losing streak of five games. 

Freshman Kayla Keefer leads the team with a total of four goals and senior Kelly Brady is right behind her with three. Overall, the Rebels have 15 goals on the season, with only one of those goals earned in SEC play. 

Goalkeeper Shu Obha has allowed 12 goals in nine games and 42 saves, with a season high of nine saves against LSU. 

Junior Sydney Becerra leads the Aggies with five goals so far. Goalkeeper Sydney Fuller has allowed an average of 1.13 goals per game. 

Ten seniors will be honored on Friday: Shu Obha, EK Uithoven, Kelly Brady, Lauren Montgomery, Aubrey Mister, Riley Friesen, Hailey Cloud, Lily Logan, Maddie Bishop and Erin Martin.
