Voters have approved tax packages that have funded the building of 15 soccer fields at the C.B. Cameron Park twice in the past. Those fields are just west of Hefner Parkway at Northwest 122nd Street and Portland Avenue.
It is home to the North Oklahoma City Soccer Club.
The club provided renderings of what they hope the new complex would look like once 20 fields are in place.
A 2017 general obligation bond helped pay for five LIT fields that were unveiled in September, and construction is expected to begin soon on 10 more fields with help from MAPS 4 funding.
But another $2.5 million is still needed to build the final five fields.

The soccer club said this will include two turf fields so play can continue year-round and will boost the economy as a home to soccer tournaments.
