The physical battle saw over 25 fouls between the teams, and although the Panthers had a few breakaway chances, they couldn’t convert. Northwood took an early lead with a goal just five minutes into the match, putting ODU on the back foot. The Timberwolves added a second goal in the 59th minute, sealing the game for the visitors.
