No. 5 Arkansas soccer travels to face its second new SEC member in as many matches when it faces No. 24 Texas at 6 p.m. Friday in Austin. The Razorbacks are coming off a 1-0 road victory over Oklahoma and a 5-0 win over Tennessee.

Texas, like Arkansas, enters on a two-match winning streak. The Longhorns beat Oklahoma and LSU to set up Friday’s ranked matchup. They enter with two SEC defeats, one against No. 3 Mississippi State and the other against Florida.
The Razorbacks’ (11-1-1, 6-1 SEC) lone loss this season was against Mississippi State.
Texas (11-2-2, 4-2-1), like Arkansas, has a versatile and flying attack. Lexi Missimo is the Longhorns’ primary attacking threat with nine goals and eight assists this season. Amalia Villarreal, Trinity Byars, Jilly Shimkin and Ashlyn Miller all also have three or more goals.
Texas has eight players with three or more assists.
The Razorbacks have five players — Kate Doyle, Ava Tankersley, Bella Field, Anaiyah Robinson and Makenzie Malham — with at least four goals. Arkansas leads the nation in total goals, total assists, total points, points per game, assists per game, scoring offense and more.
Robinson leads with nine goals, while Tankersley has eight goals and seven assists and Kate Doyle has eight goals and four assists.
Arkansas has 19 different individual scorers this season.
Texas goalkeeper Mia Justus is likely to start in net. She has started all 15 matches and has nine clean sheets. Arkansas’ defense, anchored by goalkeeper Keegan Smith, has eight clean sheets this season.

Texas has won four of its past five matches, most recently beating LSU 3-1.
