The Nigeria national football team will be in action next month. The nation will be involved in two games for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the month of June.
The Super Eagles are currently in third place in Group C of the African qualifiers. Rwanda currently leads the group with four points followed by South Africa who have three points. Nigeria have so far only managed two points on the table having played two group fixtures back in November 2023.
Now, in June, they have a chance to battle their superior in the group at the moment, South Africa. This will be played out at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Nigeria itself. After this 8 June fixture, Finidi George’s men will take on Benin on June 10.
