Here are the latest rankings for Nebraska high school boys soccer by Nick Rubek.

3. Omaha South, 11-4, 3
4. Gretna, 11-3, 4
5. Omaha Westside, 10-3, 5
6. Bennington, 16-0, 7
7. South Sioux City, 12-1, 5
8. Omaha Skutt, 10-4, 8
9. Lincoln Southeast, 8-4, 9
10. Elkhorn South, 10-3, NR
1. Lincoln Southwest, 12-0, 1
2. Omaha Creighton Prep, 15-1, 2
3. Omaha South, 11-4, 3
4. Gretna, 11-3, 4
5. Omaha Westside, 10-3, 5
6. Lincoln Southeast, 8-4, 6
7. Elkhorn South, 10-3, 8
8. Norfolk, 11-3, 9
9. Papillion-La Vista South, 9-5, 10
10. Omaha Central, 11-3, NR
COMMENTS: Minimal movement despite plenty of activity amount the group. Lincoln Southwest won the HAC tournament with a comeback overtime win over Lincoln Southeast and a 1-0 victory against Norfolk. The Silver Hawks have two trips to the Metro — Monday at Gretna, Wednesday at Papio South — to try to finish off an unbeaten regular season. Westside returned the favor to Gretna with a 2-1 win last week. Omaha Central replaces Lincoln East, which slips out after losing three of its last four and falling under .500 on the season. Central gets the nod ahead of Kearney — despite a head-to-head loss to the Bearcats — based on overall resume and better losses.
1. Bennington, 16-0, 2
2. South Sioux City, 12-1, 1
3. Omaha Skutt, 10-4, 3
4. Lexington, 10-6, 6
5. Crete, 10-3, 4
6. Schuyler, 9-3, 7
7. Omaha Roncalli, 10-4, NR
8. Elkhorn Mount Michael, 6-5, 5
9. Elkhorn North, 8-3, 9
10. The Platte, 11-1, 10
COMMENTS: All but two teams — new No. 1 Bennington and The Platte — suffered a loss since the last rankings. The former is last the unbeaten team in Class B after South Sioux City — the team Bennington replaced on top — dropped a 4-1 match to Creighton Prep. Crete falls only one spot despite losing three of its last four. One of those losses (3-2 to a Lexington team that jumps them) was against a team the Cardinals had beaten earlier in the season. This week’s River Cities Conference tournament brings its fair share of intrigue, with newly-ranked Omaha Roncalli’s rise into the rankings. A Skutt-South Sioux City rematch may be what most expect, but the Crimson Pride played both teams tough earlier this month.
