NASHVILLE, TN – The complete schedule for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup has been officially released. Nashville’s Geodis Park is set to host three matches during the Group Stage.
Opened in 2022, Geodis Park is the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States and Canada at a 30,109 seat capacity. Nashville SC’s home stadium was announced as an official venue for the Club World Cup in September.
Geodis Park will host three matches during the group stage of the tournament. It will not host a match in the knockout rounds.
The 2025 tournament is the first to use a new expanded format. 32 teams will compete, organized in the traditional World Cup-style format. Teams will be split into eight groups of four teams each, with the top two sides from each group advancing to the knockout rounds.
Since its debut in 2022, Geodis Park has never hosted a match between international club teams. The US Men’s National Team beat Ghana 4-1 in a friendly match in October 2023, while the venue has also hosted three SheBelieves Cup matches, two of which featured the US Women’s National Team.
Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans and Nashville SC’s original home, has a more extensive history with international soccer. It has hosted World Cup qualifying matches for the USMNT, extensive CONCACAF Gold Cup matches, and a 2017 International Champions Cup meeting between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur that drew a crowd of 56,232.
