There will be one more opportunity for players to transfer ahead of the 2025 season, coming between April 16-25.
At the top of the Tigers’ current shopping list: Quarterback; offensive line; linebacker; defensive back; and specialists. Mizzou likely won’t limit itself to those positions, but those are the spots highest on the priority list.
The Tribune will keep track of every incoming and outgoing player on this page over the course of the next three weeks and beyond:
So far, Missouri has not signed any players out of the transfer portal. We will update this section as signings are announced.
Several players have already announced their intentions to enter the transfer portal. We will keep a running list of those players here, and also include where they end up transferring:
Live updates from the portal will be posted below these constantly evolving lists:
On3 recruiting reporter Hayes Fawcett reported Tuesday morning that Williams Nwaneri — a five-star recruit, the top defensive line prospect in the Class of 2025 and one of Missouri football’s highest-ranked recruits of all time — is expected to enter the transfer portal.
Nwaneri joined the Tigers in the summer as the No. 8 prospect in his class, but played sparingly as a true freshman. He played in four games, meaning he preserved a redshirt.
Per PFF, Nwaneri took 38 snaps across the 2024 campaign.
As a reminder: Entering the transfer portal does not necessarily mean that the player will definitely leave. All players who enter the database can also withdraw at any time.
Sophomore Mizzou safety Phillip Roche has officially entered the transfer portal, per a post Monday evening to his X account.
The Tribune first reported on Nov. 28 that Roche was no longer with the team. It was unclear at the time whether his intent was to transfer. That was cleared up as of Monday.
USC transfer Miller Moss is expected to make his first official visit since entering the transfer portal to Mizzou, per a PowerMizzou report. Moss is expected to be in Columbia on Tuesday and Wednesday. He also reportedly will visit Louisville this week.
Moss is currently On3’s sixth-best available player in the transfer portal, according to the site’s 2025 rankings. He is the No. 2-ranked available QB.
Missouri wide receiver Mekhi Miller has entered the transfer portal, the junior announced via X on Monday.
Miller, who hails from Overland Park, spent three seasons with Mizzou, but spent most of his career behind Luther Burden III as the backup slot receiver. He caught 22 passes in three seasons for 311 yards and one touchdown.
Backup MU linebacker Brayshawn Littlejohn announced Sunday that he intends to enter the portal.
The Gaffney, South Carolina, native played 13 total games for Mizzou over two seasons, mostly appearing on special teams.

Mizzou placekicker Blake Craig is the only Missouri kicker or punter expected to return in 2025, as a wave of Tigers special teams players have announced their intention to enter the transfer portal.
Backup punters Orion Phillips and Will Safris both posted to their social media accounts that they intend to transfer. Starting punter Luke Bauer is expected to graduate and leave the program at the end of this season.
At kicker, backups Nick Quadrini and Brady Boehm also both will enter the portal.
Mizzou has made multiple special teams offers over the past week.
Charlotte kicker Stephen Rusnak, who was perfect on 11 field goals and all his PATs in 2024, has received a Missouri offer. The same goes for Kennesaw State punter Jacob Ulrich and Colorado School of Mines punter Blake Doud, who was his conference’s special teams player of the year this season.
