Mikaela Shiffrin is in high spirits despite suffering a puncture wound, abrasions, and contusions after a nasty crash at the Killington World Cup giant slalom race in Vermont.
The timeline for her return is iffy but judging by previous injuries and the time it took her to come back from them, she will likely be sidelined for the Stifel Birds of Prey Audi FIS Ski World Cup at Beaver Creek scheduled for Saturday, December 14th.
Grateful Mikaela is feeling better and wishing her a speedy recovery.
