From the days when the Trenton Liederkrantz played on Sunday afternoon at Wetzel Field, to the national championships won by Mercer County College and to the over 50 state titles won at the boys and girls high school level the soccer talent in Mercer County continues to shine brightly.
The talent never goes unnoticed as the Mercer County Soccer Hall of Fame honors those who have excelled on the pitch.
The Mercer County Soccer Hall of Fame has released the names of its incoming Class of 2025.
The nine inductees will join the over 300 individuals, teams and organizations who have been inducted into the Hall of Fame since it was formed in 1986.
The awards dinner will be held at the Hibernian Club on April 12, 2025, and it brings together the soccer community of Mercer County for a night of remembrance and good humor as the history of Mercer County soccer is honored as one of the epicenters of soccer in the United States.

Here is a look at the Class of 2025:
Frank Kemo: An All-State standout at Ewing High and a four-time All South selection at Appalachian State where he is a member of the Appalachian State Hall of Fame.
Eddie Gaven: The Hamilton native had an 11-year career with the MetroStars and the Columbus Crew in MLS. Gaven also represented the United States at the youth and senior level. He earned eight caps for the USMNT.
Beth Roundtree: An All-State player at Ewing High and an All-America player at the University of Massachusetts.
Donald Cogsville: A Parade All-American at Princeton Day School, a standout at University of North Carolina and a former US National Team member.
Wayne Sutcliffe: The iconic former coach Princeton High coach who led the Tigers to two state championships. His team reached the state finals four times, he led them to seven Mercer County Tournament championships and 19 Colonial Valley Conference titles.
Scott Steward: An All-State at player Lawrence and a standout at Old Dominion University along with US Youth international experience.
Dr. Rob Steward: A former US youth international who was a Parade All-America player at the Lawrenceville School and a standout at University of Virginia.
Two teams that are being inducted are the 1982 Notre Dame girls that were the Non-Public co-champion and the 1976 Hamilton West boys Group IV state champions.
