A thrilling high school soccer season ended over the weekend at Michigan State’s DeMartin Soccer Complex, where Spring Lake captured its first state title by defeating perennial power Bloomfield Hills Marian in the Division 2 finals.
Both finalists were well-represented on the 2024 Division 1 all-state teams, which the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association released Tuesday, with four Spring Lake athletes and six Marian players making the cut.
