MAYFIELD, KY — Mayfield High School’s football coach Joe Morris is retiring from coaching after 25 seasons with the cardinals. Morris confirmed the news Friday morning.
Morris has won seven state titles at Mayfield, and has taken his team to 14 state finals.
In 2022, Morris was inducted into the National High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
He will finish his career with a record of 300-56.
