DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – Duke women’s soccer freshman Mary Long and the United States Under-17 Women’s Youth National Team collected a 3-0 win over England on Sunday to claim the bronze medal at the eighth FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The medal for the U.S. marked its first and best U-17 Women’s World Cup finish since the inaugural event back in 2008 when it won silver. In the bronze medal match, the United States received goals from Kennedy Fuller, Ainsey McCammon and Maddie Padelski. The U.S. outshot England, 20-12, with an 8-6 advantage in corner kicks…
