The Balck Stars of Ghana host the Central African Republic in round four of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
This will be the second meeting between the two in nine months, but the third in all competitions.
The Black Stars edged Central Africa Republic 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium in their most recent meeting. Therefore, the Wild Beasts will be in for revenge.
Ghana have a long-standing unbeaten record at Baba Yara Stadium, with their last defeat at the venue dating back to 2000.
Also, Ghana’s last defeat at home in a qualifying game dates back to 2001 when Liberia beat the Black Stars 3-1 in Accra.
However, Central African Republic will be looking to ride on their current form of three wins, one draw and a defeat to upset Ghana.
The Black Stars, on the other hand, won their first game in 2024 when they beat Mali 2-1 last Thursday. The victory is also their first in the last five matches with two draws and two defeats.
Ghana are third in the group, tied with Comoros and Madagascar on six points.
Mali are fourth with 4 points, followed by the Central African Republic with 3, and Chad at the bottom with 0 points.
