The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the 23rd FIFA World Cup. The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026. It will be jointly hosted by 16 cities in three North American countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Matches are taking place from Wednesday, 05 June 2024 – Tuesday, 11 June 2024.

23h00 – Result: Ivory Coast 1-0 Gabon (Seko Fofana 36′) | The Elephants open a three-point lead atop the Group F standings while the Panthers remain second on the table.
Ivory Coast will be looking to maintain their 100% win record in the group by securing a victory away to Kenya on 11 June and Gabon will be keen to return to winning ways when they host The Gambia on the same day.
22:57 — Nigeria 1-1 South Africa — Full time in Uyo. The two rivals share spoils and points in this Group C encounter. Lesotho’s shock victory over Zimbabwe leaves them top of the group with five points whilst Nigeria and South Africa remain in fifth and fourth spot respectively with four points, tied with Benin.

22h58 – Morocco vs Zambia: With the Copper Bullets fighting back late on in the tie, it was Morocco who ended the game as the stronger of the two teams, after creating a couple scoring opportunities in the process.
22:53 — Nigeria 1-1 South Africa — Five minutes of stoppage time have been added and Ronwen Williams deals with a corner effectively. Last push for both teams to find the winning strike.

Having tried all game long, Zambia managed to draw one back in the 80th minute as Edward Chilufya capped off a clinical counter-attacking move from inside his own half. After latching onto a well-weighted through ball into the Morocco box, the Zambia number 10 gave the keeper the eyes with a low finish toward the near post.

Following a tantalizing passing move that was created by Diaz on the edge of the Zambia box, the Real Madrid star managed to pick out Seghir with a squared ball from the byline, who calmly slotted the ball into the back of the net from close range.

21h30 – Ivory Coast 0-0 Gabon: Seko Fofana is the hosts’ livewire and he is constantly making promising runs from midfield as the African champions search for the opening goal.

21:23 — Nigeria 0-0 South Africa — The tables have turned in the last ten minutes as Bafana Bafana have settled into the match and giving the Super Eagles a real problem. However they are defending well.
21h23 – Morocco vs Zambia: Zambia saw much of the ball midway through the first-half despite being a goal light. Despite the Copper Bullets taking the game to the home team, Morocco created numerous scoring chances, particularly after set-play situations.

21:19 — Nigeria 0-0 South Africa – South Africa looking more dangerous as Percy Tau is brought down in an attacking move granting the visitors a free kick in a dangerous position. Teboho Mokoena to take 15 minutes in, the midfielder is well known for scoring bangers from distance.
21h15 – Ivory Coast 0-0 Gabon: The two teams got off to a lively start and both keepers – Yahia Fofana and Loyce Mbaba- have made saves.
21:15 — Nigeria 0-0 South Africa — Bafana Bafana also getting a word in as a cross is blocked giving them a corner which is taken short. 12 minutes played.
21:13 — Nigeria 0-0 South Africa — Strong start from Nigeria. Dominating possession in the first ten minutes, in which Ademola Lookman almost set his team up to get the lead, fresh from his Europa League heroics for Serie A team Atalanta. Lookman has scored 17 goals and given eight assists this season in club football and will be a key player to look out for.
South Africa also gets close to scoring through Iqraam Rayners, but he was ruled offside.

All Morocco inside the first four minutes at Stade Adrar. Following a swift passing move into the Zambia box, the Atlas Lions were awarded a penalty in the 5th minute, which was calmly converted by Hakim Ziyech.

20h03 – Madagascar vs Comoros: Goal!
In Spite of Madagascar’s dominance during the closing stages of the game, Comoros drew one level with 30 seconds left on the clock, as El Fardou Nabouhane made the most of a defender’s mishap at the far post inside the Barea box.
Then in and instant, Comoros found themselves through on goal but were unable to convert their scoring chance in the dying moments of the game. That said, the referee then looked at his watch before calling time on proceedings at the Calabash.
20h02′ – Result: Uganda 1-0 Botswana (Muhammad Shaban 74′): A late goal propelled the Cranes to third place in the Group G standings, while the Zebras slipped down to the fifth spot.
The two teams will be in action on 10 June as Uganda play host to Algeria and Botswana will be away to Somalia on the same day.

The Ocean Stars continue to suffer under Mozambique’s tireless running on the edge of their 18-yard-area, which carved the way through for Stanley Ratifo to add his name to the goal scorers list. After latching onto a well-weighted ball between the Somalia center-backs, Ratifo expertly brought the ball down before guiding it past the goalkeeper.

As a result of their relentless energy and pressing on the edge of the Somalia area, the Mambas took the lead in the 14th minute as Alfons Amade added his name to the scoresheet. Following a corner situation, the Mambas winger rose highest with a commanding header at the near post to give his nation a well-deserved lead.
