The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the 23rd FIFA World Cup. The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026. It will be jointly hosted by 16 cities in three North American countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

23h06: Mali v Ghana – Jordan Ayew keeps the Black Stars’ 2026 World Cup hopes alive with an important winner against the Eagles to hand Otto Addo’s his first competitive victory at the helm since being reappointed as head coach in March.
23h05- Senegal 1-1 DR Congo (P.M Sarr 45’+1, Mayele 85′) | The Leopards fought back to deny the Lions of Teranga the victory in Diamniadio. The result leaves Senegal placed second in the Group B standings – two points behind leaders, Sudan.
DR Congo, on the other hand, are placed third in the standings – a point behind Senegal. The two teams will be in action on 9 June as Senegal take on Mauritania away, while DR Congo host Togo.

20:01 — Full time: Mauritania 0-2 Sudan, the visitors clearly did all the work needed in the first half and grabbed all three points in this Group B encounter. Retaining their lead at the top of the standings with seven points, from two wins including today’s victory and a draw.
Mauritania remain winless in their World Cup qualifying campaign and are bottom of the standings with only one point.
20:01: Full time: Guinea-Bissau 0 Ethiopia 0 – Done and dusted in Bissau. The hosts rise to second place on the Group A log, but their status could change depending on the upcoming match between Egypt and Burkina Faso. Ethiopia are winless after three rounds and sit in fifth place.
19:57 – Result: Libya 2-1 Mauritius | The Mediterranean Knights open a three-point lead atop the Group D standings, while the Dodos remain fifth on the table.

18:51: Guinea-Bissau 0 Ethiopia 0 – Half time in this Group A match, which remains deadlocked at 0-0. The Djurtus have had the only shot on goal, with both teams struggling to find an attacking rhythm.
18:50 — Mauritania 0-2 Sudan (Saif Thierry 15’, Abeid 29’ OG), Half time at Stade de la Capitale. Four minutes of stoppage time was added. Before the whistle, Mauritania were awarded a corner and almost came close but the effort went over the crossbar. The hosts are trailing by two goals with plenty of work to do in the second half, especially defensively. But looked more lively just before the break.

18h38 – Parity has been restored in Libya as Kevin Bru beat experienced goalkeeper Murad Al Wuheeshi to make it 1-1 in the 34th minute.
18:32 — Mauritania 0-2 Sudan, Lions of Chinguetti continue to try and find the equaliser but are still trailing. Sudan taking more of a counter attacking approach when in possession.
Counter works well for Sudan as they score once again. This time through an own goal from Aly Abeid in the 29th minute as Mauritania defence caught napping and unable to deal with the danger effectively.

18:16 — Mauritania 0 – 1 Sudan, GOAL Sudan! 15’, well taken free kick into the penalty area grants Sudan the lead as Saif Thierry Maki heads home and beats the goalkeeper.
18h17: Congo v Niger – The Group E encounter has been postponed.
18:12 — Mauritania v Sudan — 10’ Ten minutes played between the two sides, Sudan looking more lively in the attack as Mauritania settles into the game.
18h10 – It remains goalless as we reach the 10th minute at the Martyrs of February Stadium where Libya’s Mediterranean Knights are looking to open a three-point lead atop Group D standings with a win over the Dodos of Mauritius.
